Panasonic CM202/CM20F/CM301 M9 Series Feeders are the standard tape feeders designed for CM202 (mid-high speed), CM20F (flexible modular), and CM301 (high-speed) SMT pick-and-place machines. They accurately feed tape-and-reel components to the machine’s pick-up position, ensuring reliable, high-precision automated assembly.

Tape Feeders
Tape feeders are the most common type and are available in numerous widths to fit a wide range of component tape sizes.
8mm Tape Feeders: Designed for small components like resistors and capacitors, these are available in single (1P) and double-lane (0.5P or 1P) configurations for both paper and embossed tapes.
Part numbers include the M9A1CSM0000 (8mm, emboss, 1P, small reel) and M9A5NWM0000 (8mm, 0.5P, double reel).
12mm & 16mm Tape Feeders: Used for slightly larger components like diodes and small ICs.

24mm, 32mm, 44mm, & 56mm Tape Feeders: These accommodate larger components such as connectors and QFPs.

Other Feeder Types
Stick Feeders: These feeders, sometimes called vibration feeders, are used for components supplied in tubes or sticks, such as transistors, LEDs, and some ICs. They help protect the pins of delicate components.
Tray Feeders: While less common on standard configurations, these machines can be equipped with tray feeders to handle high-value or irregularly shaped components like BGAs that are supplied in matrix trays.
