Hanwha SME feeders are high-precision electric tape feeders designed for Surface Mount Technology (SMT) pick-and-place machines, enabling fast, accurate, and reliable electronic component feeding.

Key Features
Built - in Stepper Motor: The integrated motor is directly controlled by the mounter’s main system, ensuring precise synchronization and stable tape indexing, which avoids mechanical drive lags and improves feeding consistency.
High - Precision Positioning: The closed - loop control system enables real - time position correction, and the feeding accuracy reaches ±0.03mm@3σ for small - pitch components (e.g., 0201 resistors), thus reducing nozzle pick - up errors.
Quick - Change & Magnetic Lock: It adopts a magnetic - lock quick - release mechanism, allowing feeder replacement in <2 seconds, which minimizes changeover downtime and simplifies operation.
Status Monitoring: Equipped with photoelectric sensors for empty - reel, tape - jam, and component - missing detection, it can send real - time alarms to the mounter’s HMI to prevent production defects.
Tape Tension Control: It has an adjustable tensioner to adapt to different tape materials (paper/film) and prevent component flipping or misfeeding.

Compatible Mounters
It is fully compatible with Hanwha SM - series mounters, such as SM320/311, SM411/411F, SM421/421S, SM431, SM771/771PLUS, SM881/881PLUS, and SM882/882PLUS. It is not compatible with JX/DN series mounters due to different interface protocols.
