Types and Compatibility
Yamaha provides two main types of feeder loading units:
FV/CL series feeder loading units: Compatible with Yamaha CL and FV feeders used on machines such as Topaz, Sapphire, MG series, EMERALD, and Opal. These units handle CL/FV feeders of various widths from 8mm to 72mm
ZS and SS series feeder loading units (KHJ-MD200-00): Designed for Yamaha SMT machines using ZS and SS feeders like YG12, YG12F, YS12, YS12F, YSM10, YSM20, YS24, YS24X, and YG300. These workstation-compatible units are suitable for various tape-feeder widths, from 4mm to 88mm, and support standard reel handling
